Porto Full Day – Boat & Kids – 8 Hours
Meeting with your private guide at the hotel lobby at 9.30am. We will start by visiting the Water
Pavillion – it was build for Lisbon's International Exhibition in 1998 and was one of its major
attractions, now in Porto your kids will love to Play music, see 3D images trough optical illusion ,
watch the beginning of a tornado or hurricane, watch the waves behaviour, see water in different
forms and learn about the different phases of water cycle... all of these activities can be done at
Water Pavillion.
The next stop will be at Sealife Porto, where we must be before noon since it is at this time that
the beautiful Rays are fed and half an hour later is Sharks time! But there are many other fish,
turtles and even jellyfish for everyone to enjoy. There is even an Interactive Rockpool where the
kids can hold a crab, touch a starfish and learn a lot about sealife.
It is time to relax and have lunch (not included) and my suggestion would be somewhere on top of
the Douro River, perfect to enjoy the views!
After lunch it is again time for the kids (and the entire family I would say) to have some fun
holding the rudder and driving a Vintage Yacht through the Douro River. This will be a two hour
program and going under all six bridges of Porto. A perfect way to enjoy some scenic views and
learn more about the city and its wine warehouses while you have a glass of Port wine (or coke).
The day will end with the transfer to your hotel with great memories and stories to tell about.
